Kids/Teens love to take the reigns! Under a watchful eye of nutrition-trained food coaches, they’ll learn about fun food history, physiological benefits, recipe interpretation, substitutions and chef skills.

Crazy Fun!

Families have been raving about our local programmes since 2014. Every programme is different and ‘device-free,’ something for younger and older students!!! Only in Devonport.

Always full of awesomely exciting activities … and no devices! From cooking-school events, fitness days, outdoor adventures, cultural fun, science, themed-days, art inspiration, epic games and much more physical and brain stimulating events. We hire qualified educators, health professionals, parents and senior high-school role-models to ensure an lively, safe and united environment for everyone. Activities are recommended for 6 – 12 yrs or 11 – 17 yrs. All held within out professional fitness studios and hands-on cooking school.

Limited to 15 – 20/day max. Short Day: 8.45 am – 3.15 pm, $58. long Day: 8 am – 6 pm, $75. Tween/Teen Workshops as advertised.



The KidSprite Holiday Programme drop-off and pick-up is at the Soulsprite Cooking School;  59 Victoria Road, Devonport, (corridor between Vic Road resaturant and Subway).


Staff have the experience, training and qualifications appropriate for running safe and successful kid’s holiday programmes. Ben and Kate (the founders of SoulSprite) are parents of three and been teaching kids for over 20 years. A first-aid designated staff member is on site throughout the course.


The Kidsprite programme runs from Monday to Thursday/Friday for two weeks during term 1, 2 and 3 school holidays. The week before Christmas and the often the last week of the summer holidays (before school starts). Kids should be collected promptly by their end time. If there is a problem or you are delayed, please let us know (contact details at the end of this document).


Yes sure! But please check we have space first by booking online. Our maximum intake is 20 kids.


Please wear comfortable clothes that are suitable for active movement and outdoor activities. Sports shoes are essential (no jandals please as we need closed shoes in the cooking school for safety). Jeans are very difficult to move and run in. You can pack an old shirt/apron if concerned about food stains in our cooking segment.


Kids will need to bring their own healthy lunchbox of food for the day and water bottle in a backpack in case we have a picnic at a nearby playground. A raincoat and sunhat if needed. Please sunblock kids before arrival and bring any medication with them.


Please notify us via email or text if your child will not be attending. There are no refunds, but you may be able to make-up days if there is space left.


We are often out of the studio, so please text or call us (ph. 0220 874490) if you need to pick-up early, if we enough advanced warning we may be able to get them to take their bags with them for easier pick-up.


Our priorities for the week are a supportive and fun environment, allowing all of the students the opportunity to learn and have fun. At all times an appropriate standard of behaviour and participation will be expected. In the unlikely event of a child disrupting the learning/activities of other kids, SoulSprite reserves the right to request their withdrawal from workshops, an activity, or the entire course as appropriate.


You can park in the New World Supermarket Car-park off Clarence Street which is 2 hours. All day free parking can be found on Rattray Street or Kerr Street, Devonport. Drop-off parking is straight outside our venue on Victoria Road, or 2 hour parking on Flagstaff Terrace.


Prices are: Short Day (8.45 am – 3.30 pm) $58.00. Long Day (8.00 am – 5.30 pm) $75.00

Let us help you throw a fully- hosted party everyone will love, – all within our cooking venue. It’s like partying in a privately booked restaurant, except kids are the head chefs!

The healthiest life-skills education experience in town! A great start for your kids is to learn life-long body-confidence and fun, hands-on nutritional knowledge & cooking basics.

Mondays and Wednesdays: 3 pm  – 5.45 pm or 6.15 pm. Starts with School pick-up, (one less thing to organise). Followed by fresh healthy snacks. A choice of Soulsprite Fitness Classes: Dancesprite, Boxsprite, TRX or KickBoxing. Soulsprite Cook n’ Dine Class: Eat their self-made, wholesome dinner (two less things for you to organise). Hang-out with a high-school mentor, whilst chef cleans!

Great value; only $39/day!  free pick-up from Devonport, Stanley Bay and St Leos primary schools. Extra $5 charge for Vauxhall, Belmont schools and $6 for 6.15 pm pick-up. Ages 6 -12 years. Limited to 10 kids/day.

Junior Cooking Courses

We proudly train many delighted young chefs at our health and skills-based cooking school. Professional chefs and qualified nutritionists/food coaches, love imparting their knowledge and trade-skills in our joyful food classes.

The Soulsprite Cooking school facility includes a fully-equipped 10-stationed kitchen and adjoining dining room.

“Messy Kitchen” – sensory and tasty fun with food for ages 3 – 5yrs. Thursday mornings. Parent/Nanny help essential.

“Cook ‘n Dine” and “Bake ‘n Take” classes, all encourage healthy life habits and valuable life-skills coaching. Ages: 7 – 16yrs. Classes are 8 max for the best hands-on experience.

TRX (Total Resistance eXercise) training in the early stages of life is not just safe, it’s highly encouraged by top conditioning coaches for young athletes. TRX is uniquely beneficial as it’s based on “fitness skill” and limitless in terms of progressions. That is, it naturally increases all bio-motor skills (strength, speed, flexibility and cardio-respiratory) with great form.

All levels welcome. Tuesday’s and Thursday’s, ages: 11 – 16yrs. Wednesdays, ages 8 -10yrs, @ Soulsprite Loft Studio.

Boxing & Kick-Boxing

This is a safe class as we use mitts & pads, and hanging bags and have a strict ‘no sparring’ policy. By far, the best form of exercise for stamina and strength as it’s so physically demanding! Classes teach self-defence, respect for others, strength of character, help relieve stress, plus compliment most sports. Classes are led by qualified Martial Arts & Boxing Coaches and TGS seniors who have trained with us from 7 years, book quickly!

Levels: Beginner – Advanced. Boxing and Kick-boxing. Ages: 7 – 10 yrs, 11 – 16 yrs & 16 – 19 yrs.Classes @ Boxsprite Basement Studio.

FUN  – guaranteed!

A dynamic class taught by high-energy qualified dancers and dance fitness instructors that radiate style and joy. Classes fuse fitness with modern dance choreography such as funk, lyrical, hip-hop, plus the occasional latin, rock n’roll, and more.  Kids/Teens learn to dance whilst expressing themselves in the joy of rhythm. Inspiring music creates a life-long love for movement.

Levels: Any, beginners welcome!  Monday’s fun: 7 – 10 yrs, or more advanced: 9 – 14 yrs. Classes @ Soulsprite Loft Studio.
