Sam is a physiotherapist & personal trainer (a.k.a movement problem solver) from the UK who now lives with his young family in Devonport. His classes are intense while focusing on correct execution and mobility drills that will take your fitness to a new level.

Kate began dancing at 5 years old and continued to train as a young adult
with the LA Danceforce.
She began teaching fitness 20 years ago; her experience includes being a Head Master Trainer & GM for a well-known international group-fitness brand, dance performance and competitive karate. Kate definitely has devoted her life to her love affair with fitness!

Mike is a Grade 1 NZBA certified boxing coach with over 12 years experience.
His class was rated 10/10

Mike is known for his challenging fitness drills, ability to push you to your limit
and intervals of fun and laughter.
He is a tremendous role model with a huge desire to share his skills in his own community of Devonport.
Novice beginners are made to feel very welcome in his classes.

Emily has worked in the fitness industry for nearly 10 years as a Personal Trainer and Pilates instructor here in NZ, Australia and Canada. With a holistic approach to movement, rehabilitative and corrective exercise, nutrition and well being, Emily truly believes in the body’s ability to heal, develop and strengthen when the mind is willing.

Pre-School, Kids and Teens
Jenna has been teaching at MAPA for 3 years, but her love for dance started when she was 3 years old taking pre-ballet at MAPA. She danced at Chapman University and was a founding member of the Floor 13 dance crew. Jenna has moved from Hawaii where she was co-director of Ampersand Dance Company. When she is not dancing, she is a social worker who graduated with her Master's of Social work in May 2016.
